Situated in a timeless corner of the Wairarapa, Wyett House a Heritage 11 listed property in the village of Greytown, offers true seclusion and privacy. Originally built circa 1860 this country home
is set in an acre of beautiful landscaped gardens.


The House and the Annexe have been elegantly renovated and decorated to offer a luxurious, relaxing and comfortable stay for guests.
 

At Wyett House, it is always all about our guests. Stuart and Carmel make every endeavour to ensure Guest stay is as enjoyable and as memorable as possible.
 

The Two Suites in the Main House combining elegance and charm are spacious and relaxing. Each suite has its own style ,furnished with French and English Antiques . Guests have exclusive use of the Drawing Room, Library & Dining Room.


The Guest House “The Annexe” set in the garden is decorated to ensure comfort and privacy. With 2 queen bedrooms a living, kitchen and dining area you will feel immediately relaxed.


Every last detail required for guest comfort has been carefully considered, from the finest bed linen, and feather pillows, to the freshly baked biscuits.
Whether you're after a restorative holiday or romantic minibreak, this is a slice of pure paradise.


Beautiful Greytown and the surrounding area can be explored on bike or foot with the village cafes and boutique shops a five minute walk away.

The Garden

Enjoy the english style gardens that surround Wyett House. Meticulously cared for by Carmel, the gardens feature two water fountains and are abundant with roses and buxus. 

Ever changing throughout the seasons, enjoy a stroll through the gardens or sit down and relax in the sun with some local wine or a picnic.

Things to do

Explore local vineyards in Martinborough just a 20 minute drive from Wyett House.


Borrow Bicycles and Helmets and cycle the village streets or venture further and Cycle the Rail Trail.
The bicyles are equipped with baskets for your shopping or picnic supplies.

Walk into the village where you will find dozens of independent boutique stores catering to all
tastes. Whilst there drop into one of the many cafes to enjoy their homebaked offerings and book one of
the restaurants for your evening meal.
As well there are many walks around the area..
